Datto DNS Secure
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Before You Start
Datto DNS Secure is a website filtering feature built into the Datto AV policy. To connect it to Cork, you will need:
A Datto AV license. DNS Secure cannot be deployed without Datto AV. A Datto EDR license on its own is not enough to enable the feature
DNS Secure enabled on your Datto AV policy
An API token. If you've already connected 📄 Datto EDR (Infocyte), you can use the same Deployment URL and API token. Cork will link these integrations together, and you may find the Datto DNS Secure integration already live in your Cork platform
Create your Datto access token
Log into Datto EDR and navigate to the user icon in the top right corner
Select Admin from the dropdown
Select Users and Token from the left hand navigation pane
Select the API Tokens tab that appears at the top of the page
Click Create new token
Datto API tokens expire one year after they are created. When the token expires, both your Datto DNS Secure and Datto EDR integrations will stop syncing, and need the new token
Connect Datto DNS Secure to Cork
Log into Cork and select Integrations from the left hand navigation pane
Select the Available tab and locate the Datto DNS Secure tile under the DNS and Web Filtering cateogry
Copy and paste your access token into the Access Token field
Copy and paste your deployment URL into the Deployment URL field:
https://[YOURINSTANCE].infocyte.comClick Connect and map your clients when the integration is finished syncing!
Good to Know
Endpoints without a Datto AV license are not reported. A device covered by Datto EDR alone has no DNS Secure setting to report, so it will not be collected by the Cork integration
Devices Datto marks as Stale are excluded, similar to how the Datto EDR integration filters out these devices
