I've integrated multiple vendors and tools, how do I get the best value out of the platform?
Confirm client mappings
After integrating multiple tools to the Cork platform, it's important to map the tenants from each of these tools together. Sometimes the identifiers/naming structure of these tenants differs between vendors, and manual intervention is required the first time a tenant is reported into the Cork platform. Learn how to update the mapping between clients here.
Confirm endpoint mappings
Endpoints (like tenants) sometimes have different identifiers or naming conventions per vendor. Cork's algorithms take this into account, but it can't always confidently map together endpoints the first time they're seen in the platform. Using features like endpoint reconciliation or merging endpoints will allow you to correct any mappings that weren't caught the first time. Fixing these mappings will lead to more accurate billing statements, and less false-positive compliance events.
Analyze your compliance events
After all of your clients/assets have been properly synced, now is the time to start analyzing some of the risk analysis that is performed on your environment. Each compliance event is tagged with a reason and metadata to help you understand how to fix these issues and ensure maximum security for your clients. Note: Compliance events are processed after re-syncing all of your integrations. After remapping any tenants or endpoints, the best way to ensure your compliance events are up to date is to "Re-sync All" of your integrations on the "Integrations" page. Allow some time once all of your integrations have finished fetching new data for compliance events to process.
