New Features

Software Vulnerabilities

Cork is now surfacing software vulnerabilities using the information we are capturing through your RMM. Each vulnerability is classified into one of three buckets (critical, accelerated, or routine) based on the vulnerability's severity and exploitability.

Read more about this feature here. This feature is available through the "Risk Insights" page.

Savings Opportunities

By knowing how frequently devices are checking in, Cork nows exposes a list of potentially unused devices and their estimated savings cost.

Within the Corkboard, under the "Opportunities" tab you will be able to see a list of vendors and the number of devices we believe are inactive and could possibly be offboarded to potentially save you licensing costs. You can adjust the cost per agent to get a more accurate savings opportunity.

Cork has used publicly available pricing and distributor pricing to come up with fair market estimates per agent. Some vendors use per-tech pricing and Cork estimates a certain number of endpoints a single tech can manage to determine what the cost per agent would be.

Enhancements and Improvements

  • Cyber Insurance Analyzer is now out of beta!
    • You can now select which client the analysis is for. This allows Cork to add additional context to the analysis if we know what kind of business the client is operating (Construction, Healthcare, etc...)
    • Some examples:
      • Executive summary may include additional bullet points such as:
        • Business Acumen: For a technology company (NAICS 541512), minimizing downtime is critical to meeting client SLAs and maintaining trust. The policy's standard reimbursement process can delay funds, whereas Cork’s 'Instant Fund Access' provides immediate capital on a pre-loaded card for engaging recovery experts, directly addressing the need for rapid operational restoration.
      • Coverage summary may include additional bullet points such as:
        • Business Acumen: As a technology services provider, the policy's explicit coverages for Data & Network Liability, Regulatory Defense & Penalties (specifically mentioning CCPA), and Media Liability are highly relevant. However, the sub-limits for modern threats like Cryptojacking ($100,000) and Funds Transfer Fraud ($250,000) should be assessed against the company's specific risk exposure.
      • Risk Factors may include additional bullet points such as:
        • Business Risk Factor (Operational Continuity): A technology company's reputation and revenue are directly tied to its system uptime. The policy's 'Data Recovery Costs' are subject to the deductible and standard claims processing times. Cork's 'Instant Fund Access' can be used for 'Data Recovery Expenses' immediately, enabling the company to hire specialists to restore systems and data without delay, which is vital for meeting client expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
