Why Merge Endpoints?

Cork's algorithms merges together endpoints that come back from connected integrations. Sometimes these algorithms can't confidently merge together endpoints with different names/identifiers, so a manual effort is required the first time a device is seen to correct this.

If an endpoint's mapping isn't correct, this can lead to false-positive compliance events, and an incorrect number of billable endpoints.
