Cork Client Management

Follow these steps for ongoing client management in Cork after initial onboarding, when onboarding new clients or removing any that are offboarding.

Creating a new Cork Client

Creating a Cork Client is done by promoting the client from your connected system that you consider your source of truth, and then mapping the additional tools applied to that client to the Cork Client. Please review the 📄 Mapping Modearticle for more information on how this is done.

Clients Page

1. Click the Unmapped Clients tab

2. Search for the client and select the 3 vertical dot menu on the same row

3. Select Merge Clients

4. Click Save Mapping

   1. Optionally before saving: Add other clients from other integrations using the search bar at the bottom of the slideover. This will stich together the Cork Client using responses from each integration instead of needing to do this later

5. Navigate to All Clients and search the client name to verify the Cork Client was created

Integrations Page

1. Navigate to the Integrations Page

2. Locate the connected integration considered to be your source of truth (i.e., PSA, RMM, etc)

3. Click the 3 vertical dot icon under that connected integration

4. Locate the client name and click the +Promote button and Continue to the next step

5. Click “View Clients” to see the new Cork Client

Offboarding a client from Cork Vantage

To offboard a client, simply remove them from all connected tools that have been integrated with Cork Vantage. Three weeks after the last connected tool stops checking in with Cork, that Cork Client will be deleted.

Optional: In the meantime, you can Hide the client from Cork by going to the Cork Client on the client page, clicking the 3 vertical dot menu associated with that client, and selecting the Hide Client option.
